A game about AI, made with AI in 48 hours

There’s no creative act without a destructive one preceding it, and vice versa. The impact of AI tools in the world depends on how we all yield them.

This game examines the impact of the use of AI tools on humanity, yet it is powered by those very AI tools. A thought-provoking, immersive experience disguised as an action-adventure game where you play both the Hero and the Villain simultaneously. Every choice, every act as a player affects your character, the World and everyone in it, in real-time, for better or worse. Created in just 48 hours with two people during the AILA AI Storytelling Hackathon and made available to 250 million players. AI tools used: ChatGPT for story beats and prompt crafting; Midjourney for images; Epic’s UEFN AI Integration Toolkit for implementation.

I created the concept art to match the Fortnite look, making it transferable to the game engine with minimal extra steps.
The Protagonist/Antagonist character and the environment stochastically change with every action the player takes.

Friends can turn into foes and vice versa based on player choices to create/destroy resources and befriend/antagonize NPCs.

Concept art for the various environments for each level in the game.

The Epic Games page for the game. It was live from 3/23 to 12/24 and available to 250 million players worldwide.
